Dress Up Your Greens


Tahini is a creamy paste made from ground sesame seeds. It’s a common ingredient in Middle Eastern and Mediterranean dishes. I’ve found it to be an excellent thickener for sauces and stews, as well as a great base for homemade vinaigrettes, like this one.

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup tahini

  • â…“ cup extra-virgin olive oil

  • â…“ cup water

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tsp local raw honey or monk fruit sweetener

  • 1 crushed garlic clove

Make it:

  • Place ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth.

  • Pour into a mason jar and seal.

  • Store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks and enjoy!
