Rebalance Yourself With Ayurveda

Share

Ayurveda is a holistic healing practice that began in ancient India over 5,000 years ago.

Considered one of the oldest forms of health science, Ayurveda focuses on preventing and relieving disease of the body and mind through self-observation and self-care. You know yourself best. Looking within is the best place to start when seeking to rebalance your health.

In my free guide, Simplify Your Wellness Plan, the step you begin with is to assess the overall quality of your life. This starting point is necessary to guide you in your quest for your best health, since your body, life history, and current lifestyle are so unique. As you get quiet and look within, you’ll notice the areas of your physical and emotional life that need the most loving attention. Don’t skip this step – it’s gold!

Now it’s time to discover your Ayurvedic type.

I chose this form of self-observation because it originates from one of the oldest forms of health science. Finding which Ayurvedic type most resonates with you helps you keep your emotional and physical health in check. You see markers of when you’re in flow and when you’re off-balance. You can also learn practices to get yourself back on track.

Have you determined your Ayurvedic type yet? If so, great! Scroll down to learn some rebalancing strategies you can put into practice today. If not, flip to page 3 of Simplify Your Wellness Plan and choose your type. As always, I’m sharing the basics to get you started.

  1. Wow. I’m Pitta. I get stressed out so easily! I’m going to follow the tips you share here. I really like the idea of making space to wind down. I go go from one thing to the next and find it hard to sleep. Thanks so much!

  2. I have heard of these body types before but never took the time to look into it. I see that I need more loving thoughts circulating in my Vatta mind. Do you provide more in-depth guidance through the doshas? I’d like to go deeper into this. Thanks!

  3. I didn’t realize that each different type would have such different ways of eating. I guess it makes sense though. I’m Pitta and I tend to wait too long to eat, which makes my stress level rise. I’m going to try the regular eating thing this week and see what happens. Thanks for simplifying this!

  4. Saw you post about this on your Instagram Stories. I like how you describe the different types. I can see myself in Vatta and Kapha. Thinking my first step is to get more and better sleep. Any tips on this? Thanks!
