Dress Up Your Greens
Tahini is a creamy paste made from ground sesame seeds. It’s a common ingredient in Middle Eastern and Mediterranean dishes. I’ve found it to be an excellent thickener for sauces and stews, as well as a great base for homemade vinaigrettes, like this one.
Ingredients:
- ½ cup tahini
- â…“ cup extra-virgin olive oil
- â…“ cup water
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp local raw honey or monk fruit sweetener
- 1 crushed garlic clove
Make it:
- Place ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth.
- Pour into a mason jar and seal.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks and enjoy!
